G-geez, it's freezing...
[In the afternoon, those in the plaza may find this poor unfortunate new feather trudging toward it as he makes his way there in only pants. Needless to say, he's freezing, and he just wants some actual clothes and warm food...! And to know what the heck is going on. He had already glanced at his journal a bit before, so he knows where he is at least, but he's still awfully confused. Not like he really had the chance to read the journal's guide in depth yet since he's just trying to find a place to stay indoors for now.
Either way, care to help this kiddo out?]

[Later on, once he's all settled and knows what he needs to know, he creates his first journal entry in order to address a Very Important Question.]
Hello everyone. My name is Jude Mathis. I'm what you all call a "new feather," and I just arrived earlier today. I've already read most of the guide, so don't worry about filling me in on where I am and all. I do, however, have one particular question...
What do you all do with your wings in regards to clothing? It's kind of uncomfortable to keep them underneath it all, but it'd be a shame if I had to cut up my favorite clothes just to fit my wings through a hole... So does anyone have any suggestions? I figure it's either one or the other, but it's worth asking what you all do, at least.
And also, is there anyone here from Rieze Maxia? Milla? Alvin? [On one hand, he hopes he's not the only one, but on the other, he really wouldn't want them to be stuck here like he apparently is...]
Anyway, thanks.

Re: voice;
Maybe one day you will. Who knows? A lot of things can happen in a person's lifetime.
Re: voice;
[A pause, before he continues.]
So how long have you been in Luceti now?
Re: voice;
Well... depends on how you remember things. I was here a year, and then I went home for about the same time, and then I was back here. But, to people here, I'd only been gone three days. Space-time is a weird beast.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Something like that. I really don't understand it myself, but somehow it seems to work, and I've had enough of weird time-space stuff to last a life time.
Re: voice;
But anyway, the reason I was asking was because I wanted to know if you had any suggestions of what to do around here. If I'm going to be stuck here for a while, well... I need to find something to do to pass the time.
Re: voice;
Oh, yeah, that's always a problem. We have a library, if you want to get some reading in, or you could learn to a ride horse at the stables - just check no one owns the horse. We have a battle dome if you want to practice sparring or do some simulations.
Every now and then our lovely captors put us through the wringer with Shifts, and this time of year some of the people throw some big parties you could go to. When it's not so cold I would suggest going around and hiking through the forest.
Re: voice;
But uh... Wow, that sure is a lot. I guess it'll take a while before I actually start to get bored and not have anything new to do here, huh? Though those Shifts sure sound exciting, ahah...
[The last bit is mostly sarcasm. From what he heard about them, he's not looking forward to those.]
Re: voice;
[ He can hear the sarcasm and he prays to go it really is sarcasm. NO ONE likes the Shifts, and they make you feel awkward after, which was never fun... ]
Well, you learn to find new things to do or go crazy from boredom. And I am not about to give the Malnosso that particular satisfaction.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
More or less. I'm doing rehabilitation too, so that occupies a lot of my time as well right now.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Ah, I was basically poisoned, and it's taking a bit to recover from it.
[ He didn't want to go into radiation and dying and all that nasty stuff. He was learning to edit it down if it wasn't people he really knew well. ]
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Medical, huh? Well, I could always use a second opinion. My ship's doctor his here, but I am sure he wouldn't mind the help when it comes to me.
... You're not fond of needles are you? They're not your weapon of choice?
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Ugh, thank god. I might have to change you to my primary care doctor.
Re: voice;
[Assuming the poisoning happened there, rather than in Luceti. And as far as biology goes, who knows...! This guy might not have a mana lobe like Jude does.]
But I'll do what I can.
Re: voice;
Are you a human? Or humanoid more or less? Then I think we're good to go.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
I would have to be one of the ones who doesn't understand "spirit artes". It sounds like magic - which is what I am coming to categorize anything like that for my own sanity. And if Loki is anything to judge by, magic works just fine on me.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
It sounds like you use these spirits like we use tech. Tech powers everything in my world, it's what our civilization revolves around. If it collapsed - well, we'd make it, I'm sure, but it would basically cause mass panic, the economy would collapse, etcetera.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Ah, well, you see, already finding common ground. It's a bit apocalyptic, but common ground.
