G-geez, it's freezing...
[In the afternoon, those in the plaza may find this poor unfortunate new feather trudging toward it as he makes his way there in only pants. Needless to say, he's freezing, and he just wants some actual clothes and warm food...! And to know what the heck is going on. He had already glanced at his journal a bit before, so he knows where he is at least, but he's still awfully confused. Not like he really had the chance to read the journal's guide in depth yet since he's just trying to find a place to stay indoors for now.
Either way, care to help this kiddo out?]
voice;
[Later on, once he's all settled and knows what he needs to know, he creates his first journal entry in order to address a Very Important Question.]
Hello everyone. My name is Jude Mathis. I'm what you all call a "new feather," and I just arrived earlier today. I've already read most of the guide, so don't worry about filling me in on where I am and all. I do, however, have one particular question...
What do you all do with your wings in regards to clothing? It's kind of uncomfortable to keep them underneath it all, but it'd be a shame if I had to cut up my favorite clothes just to fit my wings through a hole... So does anyone have any suggestions? I figure it's either one or the other, but it's worth asking what you all do, at least.
And also, is there anyone here from Rieze Maxia? Milla? Alvin? [On one hand, he hopes he's not the only one, but on the other, he really wouldn't want them to be stuck here like he apparently is...]
Anyway, thanks.

Re: voice;
"We"?
[ His brows shot up, but he's not angry, more just amused than anything. He's happy enough to watch movies, so there's not really a complaint. He's just surprised he got invited to watch movies so quick. ]
Re: voice;
Oh, is that not all right? You mentioned showing me something on the "TV" or "DVD," so I just kind of assumed...
Re: voice;
Hahaha, yeah, it's fine, I was just teasing you for a second. It'll be fun. Do you have popcorn in your world? If not I'm introducing you to it.
Re: voice;
[TVs... Jude please.]
Re: voice;
As opposed to just using a plain old fire?
[ One eyebrow-cocking thing going on here. Because 'arte' sounded fancy for something that... wasn't. ]
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
Fair enough. I'd pick a microwave over a fire any day, so I see your point.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
It's an appliance in my world. It uses micro waves to rapidly heat up food.
Re: voice;
[Maybe it's one of those strange box things in Asbel's kitchen...]
Re: voice;
A square, about yay big usually.
[ He made the shape with his hands, shrugging. ]
It usually has buttons with a bunch of numbers on it, 0-9, and sometimes other options and a number display.
Re: voice;
Oh! I actually think I've seen one before. Not back on Rieze Maxia, but I'm staying in a person named Asbel's house. I think he has something like that in his kitchen. You heat food in that though?
[It seems so odd...]
Re: voice;
Yup. Put the food in and put a time using the buttons. Most stuff doesn't need long unless the package says so or you're defrosting something.
Re: voice;
[what are micro waves]
Re: voice;
Well -
[ And Kirk went on to explain what a microwave was
since the mun does not know how to explain this]Make sense?
Re: voice;
Hm... Yeah, I think I get the gist of it. It's unlike any technology we have in Rieze Maxia, but I think I more or less understand it. It's really interesting how you all have that "electricity" in replacement of anything related to spirits. We don't have anything like that.
Re: voice;
Well, we don't have anything like spirits, so we'd have to make do. It's really kind of amazing, since there was a period where we might have remained little more than barbarians if not for some chance advancements.
Re: voice;
Re: voice;
I think you'd learn to adapt. It's what humans are good at - adapting. Sometimes it takes us longer, but we can change to the world around us faster than almost any other living creature, I think.
Re: voice;
[Humans really are pretty amazing in that aspect though. Jude can only wonder how Milla would jump into this sort of conversation...]
Re: voice;
Just wait. You'll start advancing, and then you can't stop. Things change so rapidly, but you change with them, and it's just... amazing. You look back and wonder how we got to where we are, and something deep inside just says - this is how we are. This is what we are. We got here and we'll go so much further.
[ He blinked and grinned sheepishly. ]
Sorry, I went dreamy on you, didn't I?
Re: voice;
...Just a bit. Not that I mind though. You seem pretty passionate about it.
Re: voice;
It's what I get for looking up at the stars for so long.
[ He had looked, wondering what lay up there, even though in his later years he had avoided joining Star Fleet until Pike came for him due to his own resentments over what happened with his dad and his mother's abandonment. ]
Re: voice;
Do you like stargazing though?
