Hello everyone. I've... been here for quite a while now, and I think it's about time I start getting involved instead of always sitting around and kinda doing my own thing. [Three and a half months and it gets awfully boring, really.] Some of you already know this, but back in Rieze Maxia I was actually a medical student, and I also know healing artes. Some people suggested working at one of the clinics, so... I was wondering how I should go about signing up for that.

Likewise, I remember Emil telling me about this "Brave Vesperia" group we have here, so could someone also tell me more about that? I'm starting to get kind of interested in it.

Also, this is unrelated, but does anyone have any book suggestions? I'm partial to nonfiction since I usually read about medicine or even the different technology Luceti has, but I'm open to pretty much anything.

He didn't tell me much. Just that it's a group dedicated to helping people out here. From what he told me, it sounded like you guys just do random odd jobs, basically.

I guess so. I don't think we've really had that many jobs to do, at least since I've joined.

Over a year, at least.

So I take it joining in won't really keep me that busy then, huh? In that case, it's a good thing I'm looking into the clinics too.

Yeah. I've been thinking about it for a while, since several people suggested it to me when I got here.

Back in Rieze Maxia, I was actually studying to become one for a while. A lot happened and interfered with it though, so besides reading or doing homework or using some healing artes while we were traveling, I haven't gotten much practice recently.

[So besides helping out, working at the clinic would help with his studies, too.]

That's really nice you have such a big goal, Jude. [It's almost kind of enviable, really. So young and yet already full of ambitions. He didn't have some sort of grant goal in mind when he was Jude's age. He just wanted to become stronger so he could protect his friends.]

There're a lot of skilled doctors here, so I think you could easily get the training you need here.

If that's the case though, I'm sure I'll have no problems. I think the fact that people here come from different worlds is great too. That way I can learn about more practices or even build on the knowledge I have of some already.

You're right. Since coming here, I've really come a long way on my swordsmanship thanks to all the people I've had the opportunity to train alongside.
