G-geez, it's freezing...

[In the afternoon, those in the plaza may find this poor unfortunate new feather trudging toward it as he makes his way there in only pants. Needless to say, he's freezing, and he just wants some actual clothes and warm food...! And to know what the heck is going on. He had already glanced at his journal a bit before, so he knows where he is at least, but he's still awfully confused. Not like he really had the chance to read the journal's guide in depth yet since he's just trying to find a place to stay indoors for now.

Either way, care to help this kiddo out?]

Hello everyone. My name is Jude Mathis. I'm what you all call a "new feather," and I just arrived earlier today. I've already read most of the guide, so don't worry about filling me in on where I am and all. I do, however, have one particular question...

What do you all do with your wings in regards to clothing? It's kind of uncomfortable to keep them underneath it all, but it'd be a shame if I had to cut up my favorite clothes just to fit my wings through a hole... So does anyone have any suggestions? I figure it's either one or the other, but it's worth asking what you all do, at least.

And also, is there anyone here from Rieze Maxia? Milla? Alvin? [On one hand, he hopes he's not the only one, but on the other, he really wouldn't want them to be stuck here like he apparently is...]

[Asbel just so happens to be in the plaza, having headed there after a rigorous exercise regimen to get some lunch. Having a proper diet is the key to staying in shape!

...That said, when Asbel sees this kid who obviously is a New Feather, judging by his garb, the way he's trudging through the snow, and the expression on his face, well... Asbel feels compelled to help him. Time to approach him.]

You should get out of this cold weather.

[His hero...! Jude looks up at Asbel while hugging his torso in a futile attempt to keep warm.]

Oh good... I was hoping I'd run into someone soon. If it's not any trouble, could you give me a hand?

Sure. We should find you some clothes first. [In the meantime, Asbel is going to take off his coat and hand it to Jude to keep warm with. Enjoy his funky fashion style, Jude.]

[Help? Did throwing a snowball at the back of his head count as helping? Because that was what she was doing.

[Just like this coat is, despite how odd it looks. Granted, Jude's normal wardrobe is no different, but y'know. He takes it nonetheless and puts it on immediately, thankful for the warmth.]

Thanks. This is pretty warm already. [As for the book... He nods.] And yeah, I got it. Assuming you mean this, anyway. I flipped through a little bit of it once I found it, but I didn't get the chance to read it all. [He holds it up to show his savior.]

[Thaaaat is really cold! As if Jude wasn't freezing enough already, feeling the ice roll down the back of his neck... hnnngh. He jumps, shivering as the snow falls back down.]

H-hey! That's cold! [Who threw that...?! He looks around behind him, searching for the perpetrator.]

Great. [Asbel rubs his arms a bit as he tries to lead Jude to the clothing shop. He's glad he was able to help Jude here, but...

...It's really cold out.]

It sounds kind of strange to hear, but... That book's the primary means of communication here.

[She made no effort to hide herself, but that totally didn't have anything to do with her having a laugh at his expense. Nuh-uh.]

Well, that would depend on what Cryas Artes are, wouldn't it? [And he has definitely never heard of them, so...]

For whatever reason though, it's what I woke up in. So I'd sure hope it wasn't your fault... That doesn't mean it's nice to just randomly chuck snowballs at someone though.

And er, well...] I've... never heard of Cryas Stones either, so that really doesn't tell me much. Spirit Artes aren't fueled by stones though.

Oh. Thanks. [And so he pulls it on. Small, but yes, definitely better than nothing. Though the girl hardly made the favor seem sincere...] I'll be sure to give it back. You need a coat too, after all. So where are those shops? I'm assuming I can get something of my own at one of them.

That really is a shame... I managed to find an outfit from home, but it's a favorite of mine. I'd really hate to have to cut it up.

What do you do about yours?

I just cut holes for them. I'm not really attached to any of my clothes, though, so it doesn't bother me. I can't really think of any better way to deal with them.

Me neither. If I have to do it, I'll do it. I was just curious as to if anyone did anything else, though I honestly couldn't imagine what else you could possibly do anyway.

I think those are really the only two choices. But maybe there's someone around really good at sewing so they can cut slits for the wings but keep everything nice.
