G-geez, it's freezing...

[In the afternoon, those in the plaza may find this poor unfortunate new feather trudging toward it as he makes his way there in only pants. Needless to say, he's freezing, and he just wants some actual clothes and warm food...! And to know what the heck is going on. He had already glanced at his journal a bit before, so he knows where he is at least, but he's still awfully confused. Not like he really had the chance to read the journal's guide in depth yet since he's just trying to find a place to stay indoors for now.

Either way, care to help this kiddo out?]

Hello everyone. My name is Jude Mathis. I'm what you all call a "new feather," and I just arrived earlier today. I've already read most of the guide, so don't worry about filling me in on where I am and all. I do, however, have one particular question...

What do you all do with your wings in regards to clothing? It's kind of uncomfortable to keep them underneath it all, but it'd be a shame if I had to cut up my favorite clothes just to fit my wings through a hole... So does anyone have any suggestions? I figure it's either one or the other, but it's worth asking what you all do, at least.

And also, is there anyone here from Rieze Maxia? Milla? Alvin? [On one hand, he hopes he's not the only one, but on the other, he really wouldn't want them to be stuck here like he apparently is...]

I don't know much about magic, but if you want someone to spar against...hey, I'm open.

It's been a while since I've practiced any hand-to-hand. I hadn't planned on using it if I get hauled into battle here...but it's not a bad idea to have a back-up option.

Oh, those are so good, especially when they're fresh! I like the pastries with fruit inside them.

The gist of it? A battle between dark and light, more or less. I guess it's popular on some worlds, but it never made it to mine.

I do a lot of things! I take a few classes at the school, and when I'm not doing that, I work at the tea shop and sometimes the Welcome Center, too. Oh, and I'm the head of Brave Vesperia, even though we haven't really done much of anything lately.

I don't suppose I need to have a beak in order to do that, huh?

It's fine. Like I said, it's really just the healing kind, so it's not like I'd be using it much when sparring.

Hand-to-hand combat is always a good thing to know how to do and keep in practice. What kind of fighting do you do otherwise, though? Do you use a weapon?

Like donuts or cakes? Those have fruit inside of them fairly often, I think.

What's Brave Vesperia?

Yeah, my friend Luke gave it to me.

It's a guild dedicated to helping people around the village with whatever they need done. We've built things like stables for horses before, but we'll also do stuff like find lost items for people. It all depends on what they ask us to do.

Yeah, kind of like that! Now that you mention it, I should probably talk to Haruhi about doing some kind of joint promotion thing. I bet that would really help raise interest in both of them. It'd be nice to have more things to do... then I could really feel like we were being useful.

Oh, that's great. So you won't have to look around town or anything for whenever we do watch it together.

It seems like the two groups have similar interests, so making a team effort with that is probably a good idea.

This is only my first day here so I'm not making any decisions now, but I'll keep the SOS Brigade and Brave Vesperia in mind. Maybe I'll join one of the two in a month or so.

That just makes me more eager to find out, really. But I can wait.

Just let me know whenever you want to go to the Battle Dome together and we can show each other what we've got.

I think I'm going to get a cupcake, though I don't what flavor yet. There are so many to choose from.
