G-geez, it's freezing...

[In the afternoon, those in the plaza may find this poor unfortunate new feather trudging toward it as he makes his way there in only pants. Needless to say, he's freezing, and he just wants some actual clothes and warm food...! And to know what the heck is going on. He had already glanced at his journal a bit before, so he knows where he is at least, but he's still awfully confused. Not like he really had the chance to read the journal's guide in depth yet since he's just trying to find a place to stay indoors for now.

Either way, care to help this kiddo out?]

Hello everyone. My name is Jude Mathis. I'm what you all call a "new feather," and I just arrived earlier today. I've already read most of the guide, so don't worry about filling me in on where I am and all. I do, however, have one particular question...

What do you all do with your wings in regards to clothing? It's kind of uncomfortable to keep them underneath it all, but it'd be a shame if I had to cut up my favorite clothes just to fit my wings through a hole... So does anyone have any suggestions? I figure it's either one or the other, but it's worth asking what you all do, at least.

And also, is there anyone here from Rieze Maxia? Milla? Alvin? [On one hand, he hopes he's not the only one, but on the other, he really wouldn't want them to be stuck here like he apparently is...]

Yeah, me, either. I mean, I guess I never really thought about it before, but... [His voice trails off on that thought.] It would be nice if there was something else, though.

Oh well. If nothing can be done, then that's that I guess. I'll have to go through all my clothes and do that later. Even if we couldn't come up with anything else, thanks for the input.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that. At least that wouldn't be so bad. You don't happen to know anyone like that though, do you?

Sorry, I don't. I'm pretty new here too. But maybe there's someone that works at the clothing shop that knows!

[A beat, as he goes back to one of her earlier statements.] How long ago did you get here?

Um...[Rue thinks to herself.] Oh! Just over two weeks.

Huh... That really wasn't long ago at all.

This... is going to sound like a weird question, but you didn't arrive here in only pants too, did you?

It's gone by really fast! I'm surprised myself.

[There's a tiny laugh, but it's not at him. Only pants? That would be embarrassing and cold. Just like a sundress.]

No, I arrived wearing a dress. You must have been cold!

Only a sundress? I don't think that's any better. You'd think that whoever brings us here would be more considerate and leave us with heavier clothing in this kind of weather. Whether you're in only pants or a dress out there, it's freezing.

It's probably not as bad in the spring or summer, but it's pretty mean in this weather. Were you able to get other clothes or find shelter?

Yeah, no kidding... Fortunately I ran into someone who helped me out, so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

[Though the journey to the plaza was pretty awful in itself.]

So putting it that way, I guess they're sort of like Spirit Artes -- or in your case, Cryas Artes. Just under a different name.

It seems like it. So far I've had nothing but good encounters with people. --Or well, aside from someone throwing a snowball at me, but... they ended up helping me out after all.

It's a nice place here, though the people make it nicer too. And all the different stores here.

If you're gonna be a priss about it, just find a different shirt.

I noticed. I didn't get the chance to look at all the shops yet, but I'll have to do that whenever I head out to get my clothes fixed.
