Hello everyone. I've... been here for quite a while now, and I think it's about time I start getting involved instead of always sitting around and kinda doing my own thing. [Three and a half months and it gets awfully boring, really.] Some of you already know this, but back in Rieze Maxia I was actually a medical student, and I also know healing artes. Some people suggested working at one of the clinics, so... I was wondering how I should go about signing up for that.

Likewise, I remember Emil telling me about this "Brave Vesperia" group we have here, so could someone also tell me more about that? I'm starting to get kind of interested in it.

[A beat, before he adds:]

Also, this is unrelated, but does anyone have any book suggestions? I'm partial to nonfiction since I usually read about medicine or even the different technology Luceti has, but I'm open to pretty much anything.

Healing artes? What's that?

For most people it seems like the best way for me to explain it is by saying it's basically healing magic.

Magic.... [She hasn't really seen actual magic, but her pendent had to fall into the range of magic, right?] We don't have anything like that back home.

It sounds like that's the case for a lot of people here. You at least know what it is though, right?

Yeah. I know of it.

I'm... kind of curious, actually. I've heard this from several people already here, so... If it's not something that exists in your world, how do you know about it? Books?

Aside from hearing it from here...? We don't have any.... definite magic like that but... We have "The Prince and the Raven." It's a story but back home it's thought of as a fairy tale.

[She couldn't exactly tell somebody she just met that she was really Princess Tutu, an extension from that story or that she was normally a duck. Anything dealing with her pendent and the story, she's hesitant to talk about.]

I don't think I've heard of that story. What's it about?

"The Prince and the Raven" is about a battle against the Prince Siegfried and the Raven. The prince was almost victorious in sealing the Raven. When the story author Drosselmeyer died, the story was left unfinished.

[And here comes the weird part. Are you ready?]

And... the Raven escaped from the story. The prince went to follow the Raven to stop him, but the only way to seal the Raven was to pierce his heart with his own sword. By doing so, he was able to seal the Raven, but has lost all of his emotions.

Princess Tutu is the one who recovers his heart shards so that the prince can get his heart back. She can't confess her love for the prince because once she does, she turns into a speck of light.

[Jude listens intently, nodding as she explains the story. And once she's finished...]

Huh. Well it certainly sounds interesting. Is it a romantic story though?

Uhm well... Yes and no. In the end, Princess Tutu becomes a speck of light confessing her love for the prince.

The weird part is.... back home [And here kind of] this story.... It's more than just a story.

Drosselmeyer, the author who's supposedly dead, ends up showing up alive. He seems to be from some alternative universe though. It's really hard to explain just how exactly he's still alive. The Prince from the story is actually somebody that I know, but he has no memories of being a prince and has no emotions. [.... Hesitance] And Princess Tutu is said to exist outside of the story along with the raven to some degree.

[Fortunately for her, he hasn't quite picked up on the fact that Princess Tutu could possibly be her. He's curious as to who she may be, but hasn't thought quite that far yet.

If anything, he's just in a state of shock over what she just said.]

Alternate universes... If it weren't for Luceti, I'd probably be way more surprised than I am now normally. Is the Prince also from that universe though? Or is he from yours?

It's a strange concept even for me. He's from... well... both of those universes technically. The prince... he's actually a friend of mine, although he doesn't have all of his heart shards back so he's still missing some of his emotions.

[Again... Nope, doesn't realize that she pretty much said he was here with them.]

[Hm...]

I see... Well, what about Princess Tutu? Do you know her personally too?

[After all, if she's friends with the prince who's looking for his heart shards and Princess Tutu is supposed to be the one helping him, then... maybe she knows her too! Maybe?!]

[Oh, she's the best of friends with Princess Tutu. And one of the very few times she'll lie...]

Oh well I.... I've never really been able to meet her personally... I always seem to miss her, but Mytho has told me a lot about her.
